A Deeper Look At Standalone SLT Controller

The New Human is excited to announce the release of the **Stand Alone SLT!!!

The free standing  SA-SLT was created for effectiveness, simplicity and mobility – you don’t need to attach it to the SV2 Technology! 

We took the sound light therapy component from the Insight and placed it into a compact but lightweight palm size unit. This device utilizes the existing SLT technology (SLT, wands and cables) and it is totally portable – it comes with a custom carry case!

The SA-SLT is independent of ANY software, runs off of any audio source that has a 3.5mm audio port.  

It can run solely from ANY FORM OF audio output from a computer, cell phone or other audio player! It also will work with the New Human Radio, but realize those are treatment frequencies, so they are not musical!!! 

The SA-SLT works by using a standard male to male 3.5mm stereo/audio cable, this gives you the flexibility to use any device that has a headphone/mic audio jack (you can also simultaneously fill the room with music, with an external speaker and audio cable splitter).

The entire device comes in a beautiful protective foam custom carrying bag. The soft bag accommodates 2 SLT wands, the articulating wand holder, (aim the SLT where you want it and walk away). The entire unit (bag) is smaller than a standard computer bag and weighs approximately 3 lbs with all components. 

We have a limited number of units available at this time but it has been fully tested and clinically fantastic!  Enjoy SLT technology without having to be bound to the desk!

SA-SLT Driver has affectionately been called the “Puck” during development. 

How to Setup

1. Remove all Cables and components from the SA-SLT case.
2. Attach cables (3 cables: power, stereo and LLLT controller) into the SA-SLT controller, cables can be attached in any order.
3. Plug the power adaptor into a surge protector and into the wall. (Surge protector recommended). 
4. Plug the Stereo cable into your audio source (computer, MP3 player, phone, etc.). 
5. Plug an SLT wand into the LLLT cable.
6. To operate the SA-SLT simply switch it on, the controller light will illuminate as well as your SLT wand. Now select your audio input and begin the session. 

Optional: 

*Attach the SA-SLT controller to the SLT clamp and attach the clamp to your desk or table to secure it.

*Attach the articulating arm to your desk or table and attach an SLT wand to the arm for hands free use.

*Use the audio cable splitter to attach an external speaker.. *speaker not included.

FAQ

Do I use the Bionetics software in conjunction with the SA-SLT? Expand

No, the SA-SLT works independently from any current software or technology The New Human offers. Simply attach the components, connect the audio source and turn it on!

Can I use the solar cell on my Insight to test the SA-SLT? Expand

Yes! Open the Bionetics software, then select SLT, click on Active Passthrough, click on Activate. Once the countdown finishes the solar cell will be active, activate your SA-SLT and shine the light from the SLT wand into the solar panel, you will hear the audio from the SA-SLT.

What “SLT” Wands can the SA-SLT use? Expand

The Rainbow, InfraRed or the Infrasonic red laser wand.

What audio files do you recommend I use for my sessions? Expand

We recommend NO external speaker for these files, they are VERY intense and not designed for general listening. Can I use an external speaker during a session so my client can hear the audio? Expand

Yes, you can use the stereo cable splitter (Included) in conjunction with an external speaker, speaker must have an audio input jack.  *External speaker not included.

How portable is the SL-SLT? Expand

The entire system fits into a custom soft carrying case and weighs less than 4 pounds. The soft bag is smaller than a typical laptop bag. Assembled system components are minimal in your work area. You have the ability to clip the SA-SLT driver to your clothing and work around your client.

Is the SA-SLT battery powered? Expand

No the SA-SLT runs off of a standard wall socket utilizing the power adapter. 

Is the light emitted from the SLT wand dangerous to the eye? Expand

No, the SLT wand uses LEDs which are not dangerous to the eye. The light is bright however and can cause general discomfort.
